Use the above "Google Plus search" engine to search Google Plus.
It currently searches plus and profiles, but you can narrow down (refine) the results to either all all (including posts).
Old "profiles.google.com" URL's automatically becaome "plus.google.com" URL's when you join G+

I'm sure Google will add the "post search" feature to Google plus soon, until then, feel free to use this.
